Dr. Wei Zhan is a professor of the Electronic Systems Engineering Technology program at Texas A&M University. He received his BS degree in electrical engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, his MS, and DSc degrees in systems science and mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis. He has been teaching Lean Six Sigma to undergraduate engineering technology students at Texas A&M since 2008.  In 2014, he started the  Lean Six Sigma Workshops for working professionals. Before joining Texas A&M, he worked in the automotive industry for eleven years as a system design engineer. He has been an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt since 2006. He was elected as an ASQ Fellow in 2023.
